Description:

Mix of No. 4 glass vials containing chili powder with custom box with convenient removable vial holder; chili peppers are dried at low temperatures to keep the characteristics and fragrance unchanged. Single vial size: 5 cm height 2 cm diameter with silicone cap and fir wood dispensing stick.

BHUT JOLOKIA

Fruit characteristics:

The chili pepper is bright red in color, ranging from 5 to 9 cm in length and about 2.5 to 3 cm in diameter. The fruits are elongated, wrinkled and have a pointed apex. They are extremely spicy with long-lasting persistence.

Pepper Maremma recommends it:

Ideal sprinkled over meat carpaccio or simply over roasted or grilled red meat.
Because of its extreme spiciness, we recommend using this chili in very small doses so that you can fully enjoy its flavor and that of the seasoned dishes.

 

HABANERO RED SAVINA

Feature of fruits:

The fruits have a characteristic roundish shape, 3 to 5 cm long and 2 to 4 cm wide, turning bright red when ripe. They have a distinct aromatic flavor of fresh green bell pepper with fruity notes, very spicy in the finish.

Pepper Maremma recommends it:

Habanero Red Savina is most often used in the preparation of tomato sauces for seasoning pasta dishes; also ideal for accompanying beef such as hamburgers or chicken meat such as Mexican-style spicy wings.

 

PIMENTA DE NEYDE

Fruit characteristics:

The plant looks like a branched sapling and can reach a height of more than 2 meters, This very tasty and moderately spicy variety changes its chile color from purplish to marked black when fully ripe. The fruits have pendulous habit and reach the size of about 6 cm, and have a crisp and not very fleshy texture.

Pepper Maremma recommends it:

This variety of chili pepper has a medium spiciness and a distinctive and highly appreciated flavor. We recommend it to accompany potatoes: whether boiled, baked or fried; another winning combination is with eggs or to season pickled olives. Also used for cheese-based pasta dishes.

 

YELLOW CAYENNA 

Fruit characteristics:

Chili pepper between 8 and 10 cm in size with a diameter of about 2 to 3 cm and an often curled tip; the color of the pepper turns from green to deep yellow at full maturity. Very productive small plant.

Pepper Maremma recommends it:

Lovely, fresh flavor suitable for those who like mild spiciness. Perfect pairing with boiled or steamed vegetables and pan-fried fish; also popular on white meats.

Always skeptical about the spicy taste, I almost disinterestedly approach the Pepper Maremma stall during a market, where they were also making spicy mojitos and gin and tonics that day. I decide to put my faith in him as the guy seems to know it and with a friend of mine we taste both cocktails. What can I say, D E L I Z I O S ! By now intrigued, I let myself be convinced to taste the rest of the products which I found really interesting and delicious and now in my kitchen there is never a shortage of chili peppers because like black, it looks good on everything! Feeling the need for something electrifying, I bought Pepper Maremma's grappiccante. Pepper grappa dosed to perfection, initially the grappa releases its flavors and in the finish you feel all the unique aroma of the pepper. A ME-RA-VI-GLIA...
